New Gameplay Footage

Thank you to NintendoDSiBlog.com for the video:
According to NiNTENDOMiNATiON, this was from a live presentation in Chiba, Japan.
This presentation is about half an hour long, and it’s completely in Japanese. I’d prefer it in English myself, but it’s still kinda cool to watch, even though I can’t understand what they’re saying.
This is what I can gather from the video:
It starts with a female announcer talking about the 3DS and Kid Icarus: Uprising. And then it goes into the official E3 trailer for the game (still in Japanese, of course).
Then someone discusses the original game and its features. Eventually they start comparing artwork from the old days to present day.
After a while some screenshots are shown, and some (pretty cool, dare I say), artwork is shown.
The gameplay is discussed, and then some footage is shown of a flying part of the game. To tell you the truth, it reminded me a bit of the flying levels in Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure, only about a hundred times better.
Pit starts by flying through the sky, shooting at enemies. The sky gets dark for a short time, and the evil goddess Medusa appears, for an unknown reason. After killing some enemies, she goes away.
As the flying and avoiding enemies continues, Pit flies down through the clouds to reveal some beautiful scenery. And after flying around close to land for a while, the video footage stops.
We’re then shown more screenshots, and then we get to see some ground gameplay. Pit is in a cave, and the speaker explains the controls and how things work.
After a bit, some enemies see Pit, so he’s forced to fight them. He uses a cool gun.
After getting through the area, Pit has to face a giant boss. According to the Google translation of the Japanese Wikipedia article for Uprising, this boss is known as “Big Death”. It’s very unlikely that is the official name.
Eventually the boss is beaten, and once again the video footage stops.
Some more artwork is shown, this time of bosses. And then the video cuts to a short bit of footage where Pit attacks another boss, a familliar Hewdraw, who is a flying dragon with three, constantly arguing heads.
After that, the speaker shows some weird pieces of art, I have no clue exactly what they were of, and wrapped the presentation up. He walked off, and the original female announcer came back out and talks a bit, and then the video ends.
And there ends my too boring interpretation, too.
On another note, on January 19, which is coming up very soon, Nintendo is holding a press conference exclusively about the Nintendo 3DS. So we’re going to be preparing to get a lot of data down.
